Backyard Bear — Phone Alert
Cameras are good at recording what happened; the point of an alert is finding out while it's happening. A backyard camera catches a bear, and one message arrives seconds in — after a detector, a tracker and a vision-language model have agreed on what it is. The far-away first sighting was held back as too blurry to call, which is the difference between an alert you trust and one you mute.
What this page shows
- The phone thread as it would arrive: the frame the model chose, and its sentence.
- Every verified object against every held-back one, on the run's own timeline.
- The four pipeline steps that produced it, each with what it was configured to do.
- The CLI commands to run the same pipeline on your own camera.
